Call of Duty: WWII

Call of Duty returns to World War II for its 2017 release.

Overview

Call of Duty: WWII is an upcoming first-person shooter in the Call of Duty series, the first game to be set in World War II since 2008's Call of Duty: World at War. The first trailer debuted on April 26, 2017.

This will be the first Call of Duty game since the original to not feature automatically regenerating health. Squadmates will act as medics and ammo replenishment.

Single Player Campaign

The single-player game is set between 1944 and 1945, and takes place in the European theater of the war. Locations will include France, Belgium, and Germany. The main playable characters are Private Ronald "Red" Daniels and Private First Class Robert Zussman, both of the 1st Infantry Division. Other NPCs include squadmates William Pierson and Joseph Turner and French Resistance soldier Rousseau.

Multiplayer

War Mode, from previous Call of Duty games, will be returning. A headquarters social space will be introduced. The closed beta will be available first to those who pre-ordered on PS4.

Nazi Zombies

Nazi Zombies mode will be returning in a standalone storyline.
